Prato’s defining pattern concentrates much of its visual detail toward the lower half of the glass. The vertical cuts create changing reflections through the crystal and the amber tones within, while the cleaner upper section provides visual balance. It is a considered contrast between decoration and restraint: enough detail to distinguish the glass, without allowing the pattern to dominate the pour.
Classic Double Old Fashioned Proportions
With a 290 ml capacity, the Prato follows familiar Double Old Fashioned proportions suited to whiskey served neat, over ice or as a short cocktail. Measuring approximately 82 mm across and 93 mm high, its relatively compact profile sits naturally in the hand. Combined with its pronounced base and vertically cut design, these proportions give the tumbler a grounded appearance while retaining the clarity expected of fine Italian crystal.
